“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world:
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman

This site is a working space for people who deal with complex, real-world systems – organisations, services and communities where many things are happening at once – and the wicked problems that come with them.

Tychevia® is an AI-enabled framework for thinking about and acting on systems of all kinds – from straightforward processes to complex adaptive systems and the issues around them – using a clear set of principles and a growing toolkit of methods and artefacts.

What makes it different is that it does not just solve one problem and move on. It helps groups build a shared way of thinking that remembers, learns and stays human when working in situations where there is no single right answer. Over time, those conversations turn into maps, playbooks and other tools that can be reused.

This is a living space to explore, to build and to understand. Anyone who is curious about how systems, in the broadest sense, work is welcome to join. Access is available to registered users only.

“The most dangerous phrase in the language is:
‘We’ve always done it this way.’
